How to create common website sections from scratch
Recommendation: do not migrate
This post stays on the old site and is retired. Nothing here is worth rebuilding.
Why
Wrong TA. The reader of this post is someone building a web page: padding, columns, duplicated rows, saved templates. Insert Fuel's CLIENTS are US business owners with revenue who want sales and marketing that keeps running without them. They are not building sections. A post that teaches section layout is written to a person we do not sell to, and the brand intake has the real audience on file.
Wrong IO. The page ends with "Join the Let Go Boss community," twice, plus "reach out to Jek." That is three next actions, which means there is no IO. It is also COMMUNITY language attached to what should be a commercial decision. "join" is correct for COMMUNITY and nowhere else. The Insert Fuel IO is a booked strategy call.
Nothing survives the VOT strike. Strike the tool, the builder, the template and the section names and there is no sentence left. The body is a description of a video: "walks you through," "shows you how to customize," "by saving this section as a template." It is a caption, not a post. One minute of read time is accurate.
No opinion, so no post. MIC's own test: a piece with no opinion in it is filler. There is no standard being argued, no thing that broke, no number nobody else publishes. There is a procedure anyone can get from the builder's own docs.
The honest counter-argument
Tutorials do bring search traffic, and "how to create website sections" is a real query. But it is a query typed by people who will never book a strategy call, and traffic that cannot convert is not an asset. It is a page we have to keep loading, keep accurate, and keep defending as ours. If we want tutorial content, it should teach the buyer something about their own business, not teach a designer a tool.
What to do instead
The need underneath this post, "show that we actually build things", is real, and it belongs in case studies, not tutorials. If the web design service needs a content page, the angle is the moment, not the method: what the owner stops doing once the site works. That is a different piece with a different TA, and it should be written from the intake rather than salvaged from this one.
Handling the retirement
Redirect the URL to the services page for Website & Funnel Design rather than letting it 404. The byline and the author bio come down with it.
